Arega Grigoryan

Arega Grigoryan is a professional artist from Armenia with over 14 years of experience in fine art. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, and has had over 10 years of formal art education. Arega's passion for art began in her early years, and she attended Abovyan Fine Art School and later Panos Terlemezyan College of Fine Arts in Yerevan, Armenia, where she developed her painting skills and discovered her passion for portraits.

Arega's works are characterized by playful colours  and mystic compositions, reflecting her self-expression, fantasy, emotions, and dreams. She has exhibited her works in many galleries in Armenia and Canada, and has participated in numerous art shows, including the Armenian President's award in Yerevan, GTNT Charity Auction, Saskatoon, SK, Saskatoon Downtown Expo, Art Battle in Saskatoon, were she won and introduce province Saskatchewan in Canadian final, International Art Fair, Vancouver and Spanish Verntisage in Madrid.

After moving to Burnaby, BC, Arega continued her artistic journey by enrolling in digital art courses at BCIT and Vancouver Animation School. She is now a fine and digital artist, but still holds a deep love for fine art, believing it to be the foundation of all art.

Arega's preferred mediums are oil on canvas and charcoal.
